Crab Mentality

"Crab mentality" - a metaphor defined as the collective effort of the many with unreasonable thinking or empty instinct to disseminate untruthful rumors or negative innuendos to bring down or cause failure to a target principal idea, society, institution or individuals. Similar to crabs void of instinct trying to cling to others pulling down the rest of the crabs in the chain back to the bottom of the bushel foiling success to escape.


The truth of the matter is, Filipinos love to pull you down. Specially when they see that you're up there. Tsk, tsk.
