Fortunately, I have other resources to rely on, thanks in part to Robie Jones. This guy helps me out a lot.
But, I had to do something drastic. Yes, I sold stuff, I wont mention what, but it soooo hurts me to part ways with them.....hay naku.
Just to get by. I mean, I'm the bread winner here. I don't want to be, but I have to. Its such a huge burden to bare. And no one seems to be helping out, or try to help out. I just wish all of their luck changes so I dont have to work for a while.
We just had our family reunion on the last day of 2005. It was fun, I won a mini-transistor radio that I get to use on my way to work. It helps to dispell the boredom that creeps up to you while travelling.
Travelling is one thing I hate. Actually, what I hate most about it is the way Philippine jeepneys annoy you. I hate the way they drive. It freaks me out when they speed all the way to Buendia, and you're left slightly gasping for life. Not to mention the hazards of getting mugged inside the jeepney. I was a victim once. And it gave me nightmares.
There are also the freakazoids that litter the metro. The spitters, the nose-blowers, the sleeper-come-snorers. The coughers, the snackers, and the dreaded smokers. Don't get me wrong, I mean, I am a smoker myself. But smoking in a crowded jeep with kids or old people beside is a no-no.
What will it take to get an ounce of respect from these people. Lack of education is not an excuse. All of us were born with a certain amount of respect for others. I think they just choose to not excercise that.
That's why I have taken the FX taxies lately. But it too can fall prey to muggers. That's also one reason I don't take my fancy cellphone anymore. I just take my Sun Cellphone on a 3210 Nokia...
