Lazy Sunday

Okay, it's Sunday and I'm in front of my computer waiting for a date.

Actually, I have 3 dates tonight, just friendly chatter over food and alcohol, nothing special.

I went to DanasDirt.com and the gossip blog states that no one has seen Suri Cruise, Tom Cruise's and Katie Holmes' new daughter.

Come to think of it, she's right. No one has seen the baby, and the blog speculates that maybe the baby doesn't really exist! I'll try to look for updates on this.

On a sadder note, big-time TV producer Aaron Spelling, father of Beverly Hill 90210's Tori Spelling died today.

He produced mega-blockbuster shows such as Charmed, Dynasty & Charlie's Angels.

Apart from being ultra-rich, he also died at a ripe old age of 83.

And then some...

I suddenly find myself blogging full time. What with nothing to do at work and all, I decided to write about whatever is happening around me.

I was browsing through ABS-CBN's website and saw an alarming news! PLDT will be raising the prices for landline services. Well, I use Bayantel and they already increased their prices, albeit the gruesome customer service they give me. For the story on PLDT prices rising, click here.

I need to get a new camera and keyboard if I plan to do this blogging thing. This keyboard is ancient.



But I also bought a cool optical mouse (yay, updating stuff, aren't we?) and I took a picture of it on my cool PeopleSupport mouse pad.




Hooray. (if you did not get it, I was being sarcastic.)

A reason being that while the glorious call center Sykes gave out cool varsity bags for Chrsitmas, all we got was this lousy mouse pad. Well, who's complaining? Surprisingly, a lot.

Just got home from work.


As I mentioned earlier, all I did at work was blog my time away. After that, I spent a bit of time going home, first on the bus to the LRT station:




I forgot to take pics on the LRT train, due to the fact that I was reading this months's issue of YES! magazine. Cover would be Dina Bonnevie and Francine Prieto. And since my scanner died on me last month, you have to buy a copy to see for yourself.


After the LRT ride, I went on a jeepney, and ended up in front of my PC.

My Auntie Deaerst, Tita Edith arrived home from Texas last night. I heard she was at my Great Aunt's house just beside our house. I need to go there to see if I can haggle for some moolah.

Oh well, that's how I spend my day. I was actually absent from work due to a flu and sore throat. I don't get inspired to blog when I'm at home, partly because I am LAZY.

My great-aunt died yesterday.

I have to tell you that we are very closely-knit, our family is.

Blogging, Love Life, and Tagaytay.

Have been a while since I last updated my Blog.

Work is consistent, and very constant, can't complain though. Getting mucho bucks. Love life...still the same. Timmy is still there. But I hope he comes home real soon. I miss him a lot.

I was in a play in highschool called 'Frustrations'. It was a play about a family, their life and struggles.

The one line I remember being said was 'When a woman reaches a certain age, she should not marry for love but for convenience...love, is for the young..'. Which I highly disagree with...

There should always be love in a relationship. Though I also believe that love is not what we assume it to be. To me, love is a mixture of sex, companionship, and trust.

Last April 8th, my friends Bon, Ginger, Macon and Archie, and I went to Tagaytay.

We went to Leslie's and had lunch there, then went to a smaller place to drink beer. It was fun being with old friends again. We talked about the past, present, and the future. I'll post pics once I get them.

It's funny how you grow older in a matter of days. You sleep and next time you wake up, you're 27 years old. That's my age on my birthday. Damn, am nearing 30 and am still doing the same stuff.

I want to be spontaneous...but can't do it. I have obligations. Here I am again complaining about being a bread-winner. Damn.

My family can't stand up for themselves. I should just stop providing for them so they learn how to do it for themselves. Grrr.... I am mad because if I stop providing for them, everyone will think of me as evil. DAMN.

Oh well, as soon as Tim gets back, am definitely gonna live separate from my family...let's see what happens...

Nakilala kita matagal na panahon na...lumaki tayo, nagkamalay, at saka nag tagpo ang landas....ng dahil sa barbecue.

Tuwang tuwa ako nung nakilala kita. Kasi sabi ko, ang gwapo naman nito! Nalaman ko ang buong pagkatao mo, pati ako ay nakilala mo ng buong buo. Di ko malilimutan yung gabing natulog ka sa bahay, natandaan mo ba yun? Takot nga ako kay Lola nun kaya sa labas kita pinatulog... magdamag kitang pinaypayan nun. Magdamag kitang sinamahan.

Oo, nagkasama rin tayo ng matagal. Andami na nating pinagdaanan. Nagkahiwalay, pero bumabalik pa rin. Kasi, mahal natin ang isa't isa. Bilang magkaibigan, at halos magkadugo.

Ma-mi-miss ko yung kakulitan mo. Yung pakiramdam ko pag kasama kita. Alam mo yun. Di ko lang inaamin sayo. Sabi mo sakin nun na ang gaan ng pakiramdam mo pag kasama ako. Ako rin naman ganuon.


Kahit san man ako mapunta, kahit saan kaman madako, mahal pa rin kita Duke. Kinuha ka man ngayon ng panginoon, alam ko namang mabuti kang tao. Napakabuti mo sakin, at higit sa lahat,ikaw lang ang nagmahal sakin ng totoo.


Duke, miss na kita agad. Pero mas ok na ito, at least, di ka na masasaktan pa ulit.

Radio Romance

Meeting guys is a great boredom buster. I have met quite a few after I broke up with my ex.

Breakin up is hard to do...so the song goes. Yeah, its very hard to go through it. It's tough.

I was on an FX taxi, cruising along the roads of Manila. The driver turned on the radio to this cheezy radio station. It was one of those 'Joe D' Mango' type shows. A caller was asking for some advice about her not being able to forget her boyfriend even if they have broken up 2 years ago.

He advised her to think something bad about the guy to help forget him...

Well, that won't work for me...I can't even think of one single thing that's bad about my ex. He's perfect.....actually he more than that. The fact that he does not seem to know how great he is adds to his charm.

Andrew is a great guy. he just needs to know that himself...

Heartbreaks are a part of life. That's what I actually live for. At least you have experienced something special.

The story of Antony and Cleopatra, Romeo and Juliet, Samson and Delilah...all tragic... but oh, how we love the romance.

For now, romance is all I am after, sans love.
