New Me

Today marks the end of a chapter, and the beginning of a new life. My name is Carla Amor, and once again, I'm back in the game...

People say that I was a fool for loving someone who is inexperienced. That I was negligent in throwing away my feelings for another who is years younger than I.

I have to say that they were right.

Lessons are learned, battles are fought. You win, you lose. But to me, it's the journey that made all of it worth going through. And I don't regret any part of it.

Being part of another person's life, sharing in his/her triumphs and fears, was an awesome experience.

Yes, it was painful when the other party decides to part ways. But then again, you knew it was coming...

So here I am before all of you. The brand new me.
